Missouri State’s typography is clear, clean and flexible for a wide range of situations. The font library includes licensed fonts, as well as general user fonts.
Using Our Typography
Licensed typefaces
FreightText Pro, Trade Gothic, Brandon Grotesque and Calibre should be reserved largely for professional designers and units that use Adobe Creative Suite/Creative Cloud, with a focus on developing external communications for Missouri State's various audiences.
General user fonts
Georgia, Arial and Impact are our recommended fonts for using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint or similar programs. These are widely available on almost all computers and should not require any additional licenses or installation.
Web fonts
Alternative web fonts inspired by and closely resembling the brand fonts are built into the latest Missouri State web template and require no setup or further action from the end user.
Users who wish to use the web fonts on mobile applications and sites outside of web strategy and development-managed templates will require additional licensing and setup. You may contact web strategy and development for more information. Otherwise, please substitute the general user fonts as outlined below:

---|---|---|
Calibre | Proxima Nova | Arial |
